There were three meetings at ISSI in Bern roughly equally spaced in time with the following schedule:

The first meeting (12th-16th week of September, 2022) was planned for (a) reviewing the current knowledge about surges, both from theory and observations, (b) presenting the catalogue of available SST/IRIS observations for the project, (c) discussing the optimum settings for the 3D experiments, (d) introducing clustering algorithms and inversions, and (e) distributing tasks and establishing the subgroups within the team.

The second meeting (19th-23th week of June, 2023) included (a) a presentation of the progress carried out by the team (b) discussions to improve the current results, and (c) the results of a Bachelor’s thesis and internship at the University of La Laguna (ULL) that used data from this ISSI team.

The last meeting (12th-15th week of February 2024) was meant to summarize all the results from the project and to organize the details for the last papers as well as the review.
