During our stay at ISSI Bern we developed cutting-edge tools required to analyze never-before-collected James Webb Space Telescope mid-infrared observations of the supermassive black hole Sgr A* in the Galactic Center. These observations are part of an accepted medium-sized proposal executed in April and September 2024, simultaneous with global radio observations by the Event Horizon Telescope, the Submillimeter Array, and the NRAO Very Large Array, as well as X-ray observations with the Chandra X-ray Observatory. Our observations are helping to determine the origin of the variable infrared to X-ray emission of Sgr A* and constraining the electron acceleration in the accretion flow.
