The core team includes 12 scientists coming from 11 different science institute across 6 different countries (4 of which are ESA members). We plan to invite junior postdocs, who will increase the contribution of young researchers to our meeting.
We group the core team members following the 3 field of expertise described in the rational. We also add a short description of their expertise.
Star formation at high-spatial resolution in the local universe:
Angela Adamo (Astronomy Department, Stockholm University, Sweden) – Chair of the meeting. Expert on star formation and feedback at the highest spatial resolution in the local universe.
Deanne B. Fisher (Centre for Astrophysics and Supercomputing Swinburne University, Australia) – specialised in clustered star formation in local analogs of high-redshift galaxies
Adam Leroy (Ohio State University, USA) – specialised in study of dense molecular gas in the local universe
Matteo Messa (Geneva Observatory, Switzerland) – expert in properties of clustered star formation in local and high redshift galaxies
Star formation at high-spatial resolution in high redshift lensed galaxies:
Rychard Bouwens (University of Leiden, the Netherlands) – Specialized in study of extremely young galaxies in lensed fields with HST.
Miroslava Dessauges-Zavadsky (Geneva Observatory, Geneva University, Switzerland) – Member of the scientific organising committee. Expert on star formation in lensed galaxies at redshift beyond 1.
Johan Richard (Centre de Recherche Astrophysique de Lyon, CRAL, France) – Member of the scientific organising committee. Expert on gravitational lensing model and interstellar medium of high redshift galaxies.
Jane Rigby (NASA, USA) – Project Scientist for Operations, JWST. Expert in multiwavelength analyses of high-redshift lensed galaxies.
Eros Vanzella (Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica and Space Science Observatory Bologna, Italy) – Member of the scientific organising committee. Specialised in Lyman continuum escape in high-redshift galaxies and star formation at the highest spatial resolution in lensed galaxies.
Anita Zanella (Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica Padova, Italy) – Specialised in study of clumpy galaxies at high redshift both of stellar population and ionised gas emission.
Cosmological simulations:
Xiangcheng Ma (Theoretical Astrophysics Center, Department of Astronomy at UC Berkeley, USA) – Specialized in simulations of high-redshift galaxies, formation of stars (clusters) there, and their role in cosmic reionization
Lucio Mayer (Center for Theoretical Astrophysics & Cosmology, University of Zurich, Switzerland) – Expert in high resolution numerical simulations of high-redshift turbulent galaxies
