Citizen science
Members of the public can even contribute to our research into surface (and other) magnetospheric waves simply by listening to the data. This is part of the NASA-funded pilot HARP (Heliophysics Audified Resonances in Plasmas) project.
Artistic outputs
We also have artistic films that have been produced containing these waves from space converted into audible sound, demonstrating the breadth of inspiration that they evoke.
