Magnetic Depressions (MDs) are diamagnetic structures that appear in all magnetoplasmas in our solar system. Although they have been known since the late 1970s, there are still many questions surrounding these structures such as: the relation between the two types of MDs, their origin in the solar wind, their temporal development, etc. In this team we will address these questions using data analysis, theory and numerical simulations, and aim for a unifying model describing MDs.
